Blighted ovum?????

Question

I went for my 1st ultrasound at what I thought was 9 + 1 weeks. Ultrasound tech said she wasn't seeing a 9 week pregnancy. All she could see was the gestational sac and yolk sac. My Midwife explained I could have ovulated late or I could be experiencing a blighted ovum. I go back for a follow up us on Monday. I'm so scared, as I've had a miscarriage before. Th thought is heartbreaking. Has anyone here experienced this before? What were your symptoms? Did  anyone have the baby show on a later scan? Thank you.

I had a blighted ovum in May. I went for my 10 week ultrasound and they could only find a sac measuring about 6 weeks. I ended up miscarrying everything naturally about a week later.
On the cycle immediately following my next period, I got pregnant with a very healthy girl and I am 28 weeks today :)

My first US showed a gestational sac and a yolk sac. When I went back a week or so later I had absorbed the yolk already and there was only the shrinking gestational sac. I didn’t have any symptoms and had have a dilation and evacuation to removed the left over tissues. I barely spotted and I didn’t absorb everything. I should’ve been around 9 weeks.
