Adoption!

Recently I’ve been researching to adoption if I’m not capable of caring my own biological child. I don’t want to sound as an awful or disrespectful person but I do not want to adopt! I was in foster care for most my life and when I become of age even having the living family I had I still went searching for my biological mother. Unfortunately for me it was a very bad outcome, but now all I can think of is when my child reaches the age where they would want to meet there “biological” parents. I wouldn’t be able to cope. It would be too much emotional stress.

But talking to my husband he said he would consider adoption, so we looked into the process and not are you not Gary reed to be accepted, but the cost to adopt a child in need of a family it’s thousands of dollars!!! I don’t understand! For a family to want to bring a child not of their own to make their own, go through a stressful waiting period, visits from cps, courts ext... why should a family pay 25000 to become a family! And I only stress this because there’s so many children who don’t get there Forever homes! Myself included! I did not get adopted as a child and I wish I had of them I’d have my forever home! Am I being selfish for thinking these things???
