Induction bc lack of belly growth?

At my last appt my doctor noticed my belly hadnt grown much since the appt 2 weeks prior. Last week (36 weeks) I wasn't able to see my doctor because he was in a surgery so my belly wasn't measured. I'm 37 weeks now and see my doctor tomorrow. Is there a possibility of him inducing me if my belly hasn't grown? Or is that just for babies who don't show growth on ultrasounds.
