tested positive for chlamydia... falsely.8

so I was diagnosed with chlamydia. my husband and I have been together for over 4 years and have a daughter together already. I was flabbergasted and freaking out. after talking with my husband his conviction was strong enough that we both decided to go get fully screened before treatment and the impending divorce. We then took the treatment anyways, because I am pregnant and I wasn't about to risk our child. today we got our results. We are both totally and utterly clean. I tested falsely positive for chlamydia. this almost destroyed my marriage and ruined my family. so I know i probably sound crazy saying this, but before you jump to divorce based on a medical diagnosis I urge you to get a second opinion. even doctors make mistakes. EDIT TO SPECIFY: we obviously got retested BEFORE we took the medicine... that's why it's written the way it is! 🤗
