Did you have Hypertension?

Went to the doctors yesterday and got told I was having Hypertension. This is my second pregnancy and was just curious if any other woman had to face this and what they did to help it. Natural cures preferred. The dizziness is the worst thing I have honestly faced in my pregnancies thus far aside from completely passing out.

This is my 4th pregnancy, 3rd with hypertension, but definitely the worst (bp is staying in high 140's/80's). If it spikes, I rest on my left side for as long as I can tolerate it. I rest often in general. My doctor's biggest suggestion was just eliminating as much stress as possible. Thankfully I am a sahm, so work isn't a problem. I also deleted Facebook and communicate only with people who don't stress me out. My sister and mil help with my older kids and you when they can. I take 81 mg aspirin daily and today started Procardia (anti-hypertensive) because I just can't keep mine low enough to not need the assistance. I've had high BP since 10 weeks and made it to 28 weeks before needing meds. I have also been doing some meditation and prenatal yoga, but I have SPD so my movement is a little restricted, but yoga does help bring my BP down when it spikes.

I meant to hit yes. I’ve had hypertension the whole time started my pregnancy on 30 mg procardia and now I’m 30 weeks on 90mg. I’ve been to the hospital 6 times for HTN related scares. It’s annoying but you’ll be alright
