Is he in the right?

my husband and I recently separated informally and came to agreement at the beginning of our separation that is okay to date outside of our marriage but after I told him that I was going to see someone else he immediately reject to our informal agreement. he recently created a new informal agreement stating there to be no dating outside of our marriage for 3 months. I have look up the laws of my state and adultery is a serious crime in my state it is punishable, it is a Class B misdemeanor and you can serve up to a year jail. the loophole I found that if I wanted to date outside our marriage is to have a thing called separation maintenance to where both parties agree and sign to special terms during separation until divorce I know he's not going to sign papers allowing me to see other people during this time.
