Disappointment

My mom came home from work early and found my boyfriend and I in the middle of having sex together.

She already knew we were having sex together and got me on birth control. But, a few minutes later, she came in and talked to us both explaining that she wasn’t upset with either of us. Just disappointed. We told her we never intended on her seeing that. Having sex together is not what our relationship is based upon. We do it to show love because it’s the most intimate way to show it.

I honestly feel like a huge disappointment to my mom now. I feel so upset and embarrassed. I’ve already talked to her just one on one, but I just feel like such a burden to my mom and my dad now.

I really don’t know what to do or what to say to my mom now. I love my mom, and I respect her and my dad so much. I’m afraid they see me less than they already did.

Please help me figure out what to do.
