Birth control issues

So I have realllllly heavy periods like I use 8 super Tampons in a day kinda heavy. And my mom brought up the idea of talking to my doc about putting me on bc. I knew my dad would. Be like hellllll no because I’m 15 but I honestly want to go on it. I hate how heavy my periods are and I’m about to start mine rn. Ik I can just go and get it and hide it but I’d rather not lie to my dad and him find out later on. How do I talk to him about it. We have already got in an argument about it because I feel like it’s my uterus and I should be allowed to decide how I take care of it. But I don’t want to make my dad any more angry than he already is. My mom is on my side tho and thinks I should def go on it or talk to my doctor about something else. Idk I need help any suggestions?
