Weird discharge

So I quit birth control pills before New Years and today I got weird discharge I have never had before (even before BC pills) it was sticky but tad thick texture like glue or some kind of gel but it would literally stick to my fingers. Kinda reminded of liquid mucus that comes out from runny nose (sorry this sounds SO gross) Oh and there was a lot of it. It was so weird. I have used birth control pills before and quit them and then nothing like this happened.
