TTC A GIRL/ UTERINE FIBROIDS

Hi ladies. I am new to this feed. I am 32 and already have three boys. DH and I decided that we want to try for a girl. I have been lots of research about how to get pregnant with a girl by making sure not to have sex to close to ovulation since the female sperm is slower but lives longer. Has anyone tried this and was successful?

I was also diagnosed with fibroids last month. I have a small on at the bottom of my uterus. Has anyone that has this had difficulty conceiving? It's our fist month of trying after having my copper iud removed. I took a opk today and it was negative.
