naming my baby after my grandmother and mother CLURA (Clora)

I've been contemplating girl names and I need advice. My great great grandmothers name was Clora. She passed away shortly after my birth. My mother's name is Lura (pronounced laura, its a family spelling) she passed away suddenly in August the day after her birthday. I got pregnant in October and pregnancy has been so hard without my mother she was truly my best friend. I wanted to make a name that was for both of them but I'm afraid of the bad luck of naming a child after someone who's passed. So would combinding the names into the name CLURA (pronounced Clora) a bad idea. as either a first name or middle name.
