Baby girl is finally here!!! 👶🏻👶🏻☺️☺️
Baby girl made her appearance on 1/5/18 after going through what I believe is slow labor. Tuesday I was experiencing back pain all day!!! I could not stay at work in which I sit all day, so I went home and worked from there. I went to the hospital that evening because it just wasn’t normal for me to feel back pain this bad all day. Well I got sent home along with having Braxton Hicks 😣 Well Wednesday the back pain eased up a little but I was having irregular contractions all day and that evening they were occurring about every hour. So I decided to work from home Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday my contractions were every 30-45 mins all day. I had my mom buy a fitness ball to see if it’ll help progress anything. So she did and I used it for a few hours. My contractions were then every 10-20 mins in the evening and I started spotting so I decided to take a bath and then they started kicking in every 5-7 mins. I decided to wait until they were every 3-5 mins and let me just say, those contractions were no joke. I had a few that lasted as long as 4.5 mins and it was painful!! I finally decided to go to the hospital around 10:30 pm. I was 6 cm dilated and they asked if I wanted the epidural. I said hell yeah lol. After that, I felt much better. They did start me on pitocin and broke my water a few hours later because my contractions were spacing apart. I was finally fully dilated around 5 am but baby had not dropped enough so they let me labor down for a little while. Finally, it was time to push and baby just kept sliding back up. And let me say I felt everything!!! I think the epidural wore off. I had a first degree tear. But at 7:07 am, my baby girl, Lana Alexandria, was born weighing 8 lbs 12 oz, 21 inches long. I was surprised!!! Lol. And it was amazing hearing her first cry. It was so worth it and I feel so blessed 😍😍 Meet the love of my life 😘👶🏻
