Would you try Castor Oil?

Question

Would you ladies try castor oil to avoid being medically induced?? Or for any other reason? 
I had a dose yesterday and it hardly did anything so today I’m upping my dose to 1 1/2 tbsp today to get things moving.
I’m scheduled to be induced at 5 am on Wednesday so I really only have today and tomorrow to get her out. Hope it works!

it is actually recommended by some doctors and midwives as an alternate before induction and after membrane sweeps. 
What people don’t understand is that you don’t go into labour unless your body is ready to, it’s that simple. 
It’s a hoax that your baby poops in the womb due to castor oil....if your baby poops in the womb, it is probably from being overdue! 
Obviously you don’t guzzle an entire bottle, and you keep the doses to a minimum of 2 TBSP in a 24 hours period...if you stick to that, your not putting yourself or your baby in any danger, your just going to feel like crap, while you crap.

No!! It basically makes you poo yourself to start labor, and in some cases the baby poos themselves and that can lead to them getting hurt or dying. My sil tried it, got horribly sick, and they were worried so they induced her and it made her labor long and painful.

I would only do it if I was being supervised by a midwife or my doctor. I heard that it's really dangerous for baby and can cause stillborn. so no I wouldnt by myself but if I was being monitored by a medical professional I would consider it.
