Good parenting books?

Question

Can anyone recommend good parenting books? I want to learn all the basics like how to properly change a diaper and bathe the baby safely. I just want to make sure I know how to do everything the best way for my baby before she’s born.

Check out the Mayo Clinic Guide to Your Babies First Year, and maybe the What to Expect the first year book. Both are good, and relatively inexpensive

So this is more to aid with helping calm and soothe your baby but The Happiest Baby on the Block and the follow up The Happiest Toddler on the Block were all really great for me. I still find myself going back to The Happiest Toddler when I need a refresher. I’m on my second pregnancy and will be rereading Happiest Baby just to make sure I didn’t forget anything .
