How do you put your baby to sleep? 😰

šŸ•¶

Hey guys! So i always read how you shouldn’t get in the habit of nursing your baby to sleep so that they don’t associate eating with sleep.

I’ve also read you should follow the ā€œeat, activity, sleepā€ pattern - does anyone do this with much success?

Personally I have found it hard just to plonk baby in crib after our sleep routine - 100% fail rate with that to date if I’m honest. As soon as I put him down drowsy he wakes right back up. 😫 I almost always have to feed him or rock him during the day to get him down for a nap. Sometimes I use the sling etc. He may wake up a little as his head touches the mattress but it’s brief and then he is out like a light.

At the moment he can put himself back to sleep by himself if he wakes at night. šŸ‘Œ But naps are a whole different story! If he wakes he rarely goes back down during day.

With the 4 month sleep regression looming just around the corner, I would like to get in the way of healthier sleep habits.

Can you share what you do to get your LO to sleep?
