My boyfriend agreed to start trying now that I want to stop!

I’ve had insane baby fever for the last half a year and everyday I’ve been subtly and not so subtly trying to convince my boyfriend that we are ready. Within the last week my career has fallen into place and now having a child will have to be on hold for the next few years and I told my boyfriend that and he says “oh we can stop trying?” LIKE I didn’t know that we were! All that time convincing and he was down?!?!! 🤦‍♀️
