EWCM during fertile week

I've been monitering my CM since I started TTCing and I was just wondering. Do you get EWCM before ovulation or on the day of ovulation? Looking back on my log it seems like I get a lot of EWCM, around 14 days before my AF. Does this means it comes on the day of Ovulation? We BD lastnight but I got EWCM today. We can't BD tonight since I'm not feeling too well so just hope that lastnight would be ok, we'll try BD again in a day or 2 when I'm feeling better. I know it might be too late by then.
