My husband and I went for our 12 week scan this morning. The tech wasn’t saying much, and at the end she told me not to get the blood work today. When i asked while she said the fetus wasn’t responding correctly.. I left the room and told my husband, who went back in and asked them at the front desk.

He was told there is no heartbeat. We are so heartbroken, shocked, and in disbelief. This was the last thing we expected especially when you hear that at 12 weeks you have a 1% chance of miscarriage. We are off to the doctor in half an hour to talk to her. I’m anxious and so sad.

It’s been so much fun being a part of this July babies group, we tried for over a year to conceive. I guess it happened for a reason and I guess it wasn’t meant to be. 🌈💔
