Too early to start putting her to bed?

My baby girl is 8 weeks old and atm she stays downstairs with us until we go to bed which is quite late about 10/11pm! Well I’m thinking of either going upstairs with her earlier or putting her upstairs by herself with a radio so we can hear when she wakes. She will be in our room in the side cot. I also have a 2 year old that has the radio in her room but we don’t really need it for her now as she sleeps right through. I can’t remember at what age I started putting her to bed by herself.
