Late period, negative tests

So today my period is officially 2 days late. Yesterday I woke up at 4:30 in the morning and vomited. But I've taken 3 tests and they're all negative. It's just strange because my period has been on time and I literally don't feel crampy or anything. I'm expecting my period to show up just because I don't want to get my hopes up. But have any of you ladies experienced this? Late period and negative results? If so did you end up being pregnant and how did you find out? Maybe I shouldn't be asking just because it's too soon to get my hopes up but idk. I always see stories of women testing early and getting positives but here I am
