Age difference?

I've been talking to a guy 12 years older than me.. Is that too much of an age difference? There's no hesitation whatsoever and everything just clicked with us.. I am 18 and he is 29 almost 30. I need to cautious about this I don't want to be taken advantage of.

I decided to go out with him to test the waters a little bit and he is such a gentleman. He's got good manners and he refuses to touch me sexually until we are both ready. I'm suprised no one reminded me that Beyonce and Jay Z have the same age gap.

Honestly, as an 18 year old myself I wouldn’t feel comfortable talking to anyone older than 25. My ex was 23 and we were in very different places (I had just finished school and he has a full time job and was ready to settle down). It all depends on the person, but if you like him and you both click then you should see where it goes, good luck 😊

Idk I mean it depends. First off, are you still in HS? Because then it would be helll no haha. 
Honestly, I’m 27 and most of my friends wouldn’t even consider dating an 18 year old. It would be weird. No offense or anything.

Idk I met my SO at 20 and he was 30. BUT I was also married previously with a baby and completely 100% independent. So it was a little different. Generally speaking, I feel in most instances it would be odd.

I met my husband when I was 19 and he was 29. We’ve been together 5 1/2 years, married 6 months and expecting our first baby! Be smart about it but it can definitely work. Women are more mature than men and I could have never been with someone my own age at the time haha
