How do y’all deal with dirty laundry?

I’m trying to stay organized with laundry and avoid getting piles of clothes in each room from either my kiddos or hubby.  So I want to know.....do y’all have hampers in each room or a laundry basket in the bathroom for dirty clothes? Or do y’all have everyone just take it to the hamper in the laundry room? How do y’all make it work?

I have a hamper in my baby's room, a hamper in our bedroom and a hamper in the bathroom.

Even though I have hampers everywhere my husband and kids still think they just throw their clothes on the floor where ever they take them off at, bedroom, bathroom, hallway, even the living room. I literally pick up piles of laundry on the daily.

1 hamper in the nursery for the girls
2 hampers in our bedroom- a large one near my dresser and a small one near my husband’s otherwise he throws it on the floor, so then I just dump his into mine when it’s laundry time
And 1 hamper in the bathroom for towels and wet stuff

When I lived at home we each had our own hampers in each of our bedrooms. And now we just have one bedroom so one hamper. Although I still have to go picking up my boyfriends dirty clothes every couple days. Useless man! 🤦‍♀️

I actually have 3 in our bedroom 🤷🏼‍♀️ one for our clothes, one for our daughters clothes, and a pail for the cloth diapers.. then there’s one in my sons room and half the time he still throws clothes on the floor.  And they both still throw clothes on the floor in the bathroom, but the bath isn’t big enough to put a hamper in there.

Hamper in each room, this way I only have to separate by color, jeans, towels. It makes it easier to fold and place back in correct rooms.
