wisdom tooth?

So im 9 weeks pregnant for the past 3 days i been having bad pain in the left side of the jaw when i open or try to put my teeth together .
I have a dentist appointment tomorrow but since i am pregnant i know for sure they are gonna do a xray and stuff , is it safe? 
This is my first baby and i dont want to mess anything up, im so nervous 😭

I'm a dental nurse. usually they won't bother taking an x-ray if you're pregnant. they'll was around the wisdom tooth and give you a single tufted brush to keep it.clean at home. salt water rinses help. or with sage as it's an antiimflamitory too. 2 tea spoons of dried or fresh sage in a cup of boiling water, leave for 30 minutes until cool and then strain and rinse with that after meals. if they absolutely have to take an xraythey can use a lead shield to lay on your stomach which prevents the x-ray going through it but if it was me I wouldn't want xrays with bubba in there. good luck! hope this helps! usually wisdom teeth flare up for a few days to a week then settle again.

My dentist just double layered me with lead aprons. you'll be fine.

Just talk to them about it and get a note from your OB on what they recommend. If it’s unsafe they won’t do it.

My dentist wouldn't do anything other than cleanings in the first trimester. I was able to get my cavities fixed in the second no problem. I've heard they'll just double cover you for xrays if you really need them since it's normally a big no no when pregnant
