Castor oil packs

I started doing the castor oil packs/massages this month, I just did 2 days but they were both on my ovulation days. So basically the day before yesterday and yesterday, today I woke up and now I’m bleeding. Has anyone have any experience with the castor oil packs. Should I have not done the massages during ovulation, I’m kinda thinking it was a cyst or a fibroid that probably bust opened. My period isn’t suppose to start until next week so I’m just trying to figure out if anyone has had this experience ? Or negative or positive outcomes with doing this
