Switching pills

Hey ladies, I’m currently on the last week of my second month of a generic brand of alesse pills. My doctor told me to pick up the first three pill packs and try it for three months. This is the first time I’ve been on the pill and it’s giving me super bad headaches literally everyday but I was told to wait out the three months when I first got the prescription. I have finals next week and I was wondering if I should keep taking them and see if my body adjusts to the pills or should I just stop taking them for now and get a different prescription when I get the chance?
