vasectomy

my fiance mentioned getting a vasectomy (during intercourse)..

backstory, we've lost a child at 37 weeks due to a few complications during pregnancy. we now have baby who's a few months old, I had more complications during my second pregnancy than my first. everyone asks if we'll try for another, but I don't want to 'try' for another baby due to me being such a high risk; I kinda just hoped it'd happen again when/if the time was right.

when he mentioned the v, I was in slight relief and disappoint as well..

we have not talked about it since, I'm torn on how I truely feel about it. I don't want to get pregnant until I finish school ( my body does not react well to birth control )

I just want some thoughts/opinions/advise please..
