Is it normal for my husband to constantly speak about my ex?

My husband and I have been married for 1year 2months. At first everything was great but then everything is starting to fall apart, we have been arguing a lot. Today he was really upset because I told him why does he buy things to just throw them away? I asked him to stop spending money on unnecessary things. He right away started to compare himself with my ex, that I like my ex because he never used to spend on dumb things. 🙄 he has been comparing himself with him after sex and he asks me questions of my past all the time it's annoying. Do you guys think I'm over reacting because to him I am and he thinks that him comparing and asking questions it's totally normal an that every man does it.
