Lip Piercing??

Question

Hey I really want to get a lip ring for my bottom lip. Does it hurt to get and what are the pros and cons of getting one? Does anyone regret getting theirs? And the same with tattoos, what was it like and did you regret It? Thanks in advance😀

I have my lip and tattoos. Never have regretted them. I've only just recently started my sleeve. I don't know your age but I'm glad I waited to start tattoos. It gave me time to really think about what I wanted. Lots of things I thought I wanted I'm sooo glad I never did. Plus it gave me time to do lots of research on a style and an artist.

I have 2 in my lip, they were both very easy pain-wise (I have 13 in total). She just clamped my lip and it was a breeze after that. You’ll just have to downsize once it’s healed so it doesn’t poke out or get caught on your teeth or something. Tattoos are a completely different experience and type of pain. With a tattoo it feels mostly like a continuous cat scratch over your skin and the healing process feels much like a sunburn. In both cases it’s extremely important to clean them properly and your artist/piercer should always go over all of that info with you

It would depend on your pain tolerance as it's different for everyone. Find a good piercer and ask lots of questions. Be prepared for a noticable hole if you decide to remove it in the future. I've had mine out for years, but the hole is still super obvious.
