Would you be embarrassed

I told my friend about a crush on a teacher and she said that I'm a whore and yelled it out in the hallway so people turned around and looked at me. Is it wrong to have a crush on the teacher? She made t seem like I'm f*cking him or something. She told me that he could get fired for this and I said he's a sub so it's not as bad as being an actual teacher. He's only there when the school calls him to be. He also gives me looks like he likes me in the hallway and he's young. Even she told me he's hot. She also said if they were at another school and he flirted with her she would go out with him but not here.

I wanna know why she started saying all that when I told her I like him. Is it because she likes him? Or is she overreacting?
