Can switching to a nonhormonal birth control lower your immune system?
Was on pills for years then switched to the Nexplanon (arm implant). Had it removed and on the same day, the Paragard (copper IUD) was inserted. I was sick for a month after Halloween flu followed by a cold while I still had the nexplanon in. Got paragard on November 29th when I was happy and healthy. Around Christmas got sick again. Started to go away for a day. Now I'm sick again.
