partner is in A&E

So I got a call at 4:30am and since my partner decided to have a night out and the call was off him I just assumed he was drunk calling me. He does that sometimes... But no. I answer and it's his friend he went out with. His first words were "don't panic!! so he's in the hospital. He's been attacked (how am I meant to not panic!?!) so turns out he's only dislocated his shoulder but he's been having issues with it for a while so it's not too good!! Atleast he's okay though! Sad part is I'm currently at my mums house and can't get back to our house to see him till god knows when as I can't drive and there's no public transport and obviously he can't drive now either so can't get me from nearest train station (17 miles away) so it really sucks because I just want to know hes okay and see him!! !!
