So guys its just dawned on me that in 8 years of child rearing (all girls) ive never changed a boy and have no idea what im in for, Due in april with a boy yay. So, do u pull foreskin back? how do u clean it? what about balls? im scared ill hurt them! and do they all wee on you?

My son is not circumcised.. do not pull the foreskin back! Just wipe his penis and under it. The balls just wipe them and under them also.. their little penis can get hard which usually means they’re about to pee. Been there done that when my son was a newborn lol he is 6 months now.. I also had no idea what I was doing cuz I’m a FTM but it just comes to you naturally.

My son was circumcised so dunno about the foreskin but with boys you gotta be fast. When you open the diaper and he gets exposed to air, immediately put it back down because 3/5 times, he’d pee once the air hits his penis. Clean with wipes, then point the pee pee downward before closing the diaper.

Don’t pull the foreskin back! You clean it like you would the tip of your finger. Don’t worry about hurting him either! You’ll know what to do when the baby comes, plus the nurses can help.

it depends if your getting him circumcised or not, if so DO NOT wipe his penis with a wipe, I'd dab with a damp warm cloth. wipe his bum if he poo'd then put vasoline on the penis generously. it'll heal within one week. I'm not sure about uncircumcised though. but dont be alarmed if baby's gotta stiffy, just take cover 😂

You’ll find that the diapers that worked for your girls may fit a little boy a bit differently (and thus may have some leaking), so you may have a new favorite brand. If he peed just give him a quick all-over wipe. If he pooped it is generally straightforward, but sometimes, it gets kind of beside the sack and you have to wipe beside it - same as girls, some craps are messier than others!
