Getting a little worried..

So this is my "actual" first time ttc. My other two children I wasn't necessarily trying if ya know what I mean lol. I have been tracking everything and hopefully if I've been doing it correctly I am 8DPO and I took a test today and it was negative... It's kind a hard to explain how I felt... My heart sank... I've been cramping a little on and off for a week or so and usually my boobs start hurting pretty bad at least 1 week before I start my period but they haven't started hurting yet and I'm supposed to start in 5 days... am I just driving myself crazy? With my other two children I got pregnant the first time with them (young and dumb)... and so now I'm kinda freaking out that I may not be able to get pregnant because I waited to long or there may be something wrong... ugh!
