Abdominal u/s measuring 2 weeks behind- couldn’t see heart beat. Anyone else?

I had an abdominal ultrasound yesterday when I should’ve been about 9w4d along and they said I’m measuring around 7 weeks. It was at a resource center and I’ve heard that their machines may be older? Also could it be possible not to see a heartbeat if I only am 7 weeks along? Anyone had this turn out fine or does it sound like a missed miscarriage? :(

I went in today thinking I was 8 weeks 6 days. After failing at the first ultrasound I ended up having a vaginal ultrasound that showed baby 7 weeks 5 days but perfect with a heartbeat.

I went in for my 8 week appointment and measured 6 weeks 2 days and you could hear the heartbeat. I had a vaginal ultrasound done though....typically that’s the only way to really see the baby that early. 
I’m now 12 weeks and 1 day, baby still doing great! My last pregnancy also measured behind, shouldn’t be a reason for alarm.

I had the same thing, it was just fine, we saw baby and heart beat the next week with a transvaginal ultrasound. I was further behind than I thought (I must have ovulated late and implanted a little later) but everything has been fine, the abdominal ultrasound just wasn't close enough to baby to see the heart beating

I got a vaginal ultrasound at 7weeks and she told before she even started that it’s hard to detect a heartbeat at that point and not to be alarmed if it doesn’t show up. Have faith and maybe try again in a week or so 💕

I’ve had an u/s at all of my appointments this far since I had bleeding so early, all of them have been transvaginal since the baby is so small they can hardly pick it up on a regular u/s. I just got my first belly u/s this week at 10w4d.
