I have been going out with a guy who I met online for a few months now though we've not actually met
so I was going through some pictures he sent me when he was at a friend's wedding and I just realized he's a bring on his ring finger. we haven't talked about our past relationships but I sure as  know a wedding band when u see one and right now I can't figure out whether to ask him or just ignore it

I’d ask about it. My current husband was separated from his ex-wife when I met him but he was honest about it. The guy your talking to shouldn’t have a problem answering any questions if he’s got nothing to hide.

so I asked him and he's telling me something like its a ring he was given when he got to the 10th grade and he still has it on at 34 years, strange right.
And then he said Irish people wear wedding rings on their right hand so I Googled it and it turns out dome countries actually do that but not Ireland. shm
anyone knows someone from Ireland??
