New Year = New Baby 🚼

my DH and i had been trying to conceive baby #2 for 6 months. it was so hard to go month after month with negative after negative.

i was losing hope. December we had got opks i wasn’t getting any positives on those which were so weird. i was starting to think something was really wrong with me. so my DH and i were baby dancing and instead of getting right to the baby juices we took our time. showed love for one another and enjoyed that session. and as we were laying there i couldn’t help but say “i miss you” not that we haven’t seen each other or anything, we just got so wrapped up in trying to make a baby we forgot to enjoy each other

so after that night i deleted my glow apps, put my opks in the top of my closet and told him “even if we don’t get pregnant until next year i wouldn’t care as long as we continue to baby dance like that” i feel like i took the joy out of it for us. because i wanted it so bad! So my coworker who’s period is never before mines asked me last monday for a tampon. i thought nothing of it and gave it to her. she asked had mines came on i couldn’t remember. i texted my significant other and ask had i had one he said no not yet. we didn’t think we have conceived during our fertile week which was after christmas but during new years. i took a test and BAM 💥

those two lines i’ve been hoping and praying for to see there they were. i didn’t know what to do what to say! i’m beyond happy and excited! i just pray for a stick bean and a happy healthy nine months. And to the ladies still out there trying moral of the story try not to get so wrapped up in the deed that you forget to express your love and passion for one another. Lots of baby dust to you all! and to the ladies that got the new year new blessing congrats!
