Anyone else have their membranes stripped?

At my last appointment Thursday afternoon, my OB decided to schedule an induction for Monday, but she also stripped my membranes to possibly encourage labor to start on its own. She told me I’d probably experience some cramping or contractions and some spotting, which I did! I’ve been having Braxton-Hicks anyway for the past 3 weeks, and that hasn’t changed. Other than that I was a little crampy that day and have had spotting on and off since the procedure, and I’m pretty sure I lost my mucus plug as well. No signs of real labor starting though and I’m pretty disappointed. ☹️ Anyone else have their membranes stripped this pregnancy or in a previous one? If so, was it effective in putting you in labor, and how long did it take? Or did it not work?! I really want to avoid this induction, but it doesn’t look like I’m going to at this point. 😔
