Advice needed - anyone in a similar position or have experience?? 🙏🙏

We’ve been TTC for almost 18 months. Done blood and semen analysis - all ok. Got first appointment with specialist at the hospital in 2 weeks. The criteria for NHS fertility treatments/IVF is 2 years of TTC in my area. I’m just wondering why they would give me an appointment if it hasn’t been 2 years? Anyone been through the same? Can they offer other treatments before the 2 years? I really don’t want to have to wait another 6 months. I’m 35. UK based. Thank you 😊
