I can’t put in tampons???

Yes, I am a virgin, but I know plenty of friends that use tampons and are a virgin. They say it’s easy as heck, but it hurts me SO bad. I know I’m finding the right hole, but whenever I put a tampon in, it starts hurting and when I try to walk around I have to waddle and it’s uncomfortable, and then it hurts as well when I try to take it out. Any tips to help me or am I possibly putting it in wrong?

If you pull a dry wad of cotton out of your most sensitive (and suppose to be wet) area of course it’s going to hurt. How far are you putting them in? You need to put it high enough in there that it rests just under your cervix. I’ve been using tampons since I was 12 (got my period at 9) and I never really had this issue so...🤷🏽‍♀️ try a little higher or putting your leg up on something then inserting it. Remember to remove the plastic or cardboard applicator!

when I was a virgin and my first time putting tampons in it hurt. I couldn’t wear them. so what id do is buy some cheap tampons and just everyday of your period try and put them in. eventually it’ll work it’s because you’re really tight. also another way it’ll make it better is to put it in right after you pee but don’t wipe so it has some moisture. ( i know that’s gross ) but it helps!

I was the exact same way and couldn't use them until after I lost my virginity. It's likely that your friends stretched their hymens somewhere along the way (anything can do it, really) and you haven't. Don't stress about it, and definitely don't force it, trying to make it go in when it clearly wasn't going to was the worst.

If it's not high enough it hurts like a motherfucker! And make sure it's during your heaviest days! I'm a virgin but can do it no problem

It took me a while to get used to it, make sure you’re inserting it far enough. Push in the whole applicator before pushing in tampon, if it’s not far enough in definitely uncomfortable. Also use plastic applicators, I find they’re easier to insert

You could just be putting it in wrong... the first time I used them I had to try a few times before it was in there correctly & comfortably. Also pulling them out may be hurting because they are dry?
