When can I shave!?

So I had a c-section 3 weeks ago! And I'm dying to shave! Is it to early? I hate having that bush but I'm scared of shaving over the scar! When did you start shaving??

Just shave below the scar. I certainly wouldn't be going near the scar yet, I'm 9 weeks postpartum and still wouldn't go over it, I go as close to it as possible. You have to be so careful to avoid infection.

I shaved,but was very careful not to touch the scar.

I shaved around it until I felt it was healed up enough. I think it was around the 5-6 week mark that I felt comfortable enough to shave over it.

I waited until my 6 week postpartum visit when my midwife took a look at the scar and said it is completely healed and even started picking away the scabs 😳 then I removed all of the glue and finally shaved. It still freaks me out to go over the scar area so I just shave it lightly.

I shaved for my 2 week follow up appt. I was fine. Just be careful when going over the scar.
