Today started so great. I had a family day with my Hubby and my little boy and then came home to relax. Well my stepmother had texted me today complaining about my dads dog biting her grandkids. Mind you, my dads dog is an English Mastiff, those are BIG dogs. Well she sends me of these so called dog bites.

To me, if this was a dog bite there would be blood and teeth mark. I tried telling her that it looks more like human bite marks. She don't think so.

So i went over and saw my dad and his dog and the dog, who is named Sampson, was so sweet! It is sort of making me mad that my stepmother ( who has threatened to leave my dad multiple times) is telling everyone that my dads dog is BITING her grandkids...what thoughts do you ladies have?

I was bit by my family dog one time - i was trying to split up my dog and another dog who were going at each others throats, and the skin didn’t really break, but it was horribly bruised, and much larger that what your photos show, and she is a border collie, lol like a third the size that dog. 
I agree that the bites look very much like human bite. The kids should be able to tell the truth about that, no? Maybe they blamed it on the dog because they were doing something they shouldn’t. 🤷‍♀️

call her bluff, tell her your concerned for the kids welfare and it needs dealing with. say your taking the kids to hospital for them to check it out then the kids and dog to the vets to have a professional look into it then to the police to investigate, if she says no ask why or tell her then she must clearly be lying because if she was so concerned she would want this dealt with so the 'dog didn't attack again'. Also give the dogs lots of fuss and treats he'll be picking up on her reactions to him which could make him nervous around her and act out, I hate people like her!

To start off with the dog is soooooo Beautiful!!! Reminds me of my old big guy i lost a few years ago. 2nd this dogs bite would of had to of been a bigger bite mark than what she is showing you. Plus from the size and roundness of the bite/bruise is no way from dogs teeth or a dogs mouth!. Especially when i've had a rottweiler cross dogue de bordeaux they are big dogs like the one in your picture. My dad came home one night wearing a hoody and a hat, my dog didn't really like men with hats or hoodies over their head after being beaten/starved/chained up in a bathroom when he was a puppy. My mum and dad rescued him. He went for my dad when he was wearing a hat and had bitten him. Now the bite was 100× bigger than that. She is lying and trying to get this dog out of the picture by the sounds of things. Those are human bite marks not dogs.      Did you find out what happened to the kids?

That is 100% definitely NOT a dog bite. Especially not from that dog!
Shit. If I were you I'd tell her I want the truth or she won't be seeing them anymore. Because if she's allowing your child to get bit so hard they're bruising, it's neglectful. Tell her you'll be taking them to the doctor because you don't believe it's a dog bite and you need to know what *actually* happened.
