Breastfeeding and food poisoning!!??

Question

Anyone has breastfed and while having food poisoning??
Do you still breastfeed or supplemented with formula while getting better?
Noticed his poop changed slightly- he’s 1 week old. 
This just started yesterday later in the day

No need to supplement! I’ve breastfed through food poisoning, mastitis, colds, and the flu. Breastmilk is always better in those scenarios if you can give it.

Yeah I still breastfed while I was deathly ill from eating undercooked chicken. I had to drink tons of water to keep my supply up and to stay hydrated. I honestly felt terrible every time I pumped or nursed but I didn’t want to stop because my son was 6 months old at the time. You can still breastfeed, just be careful so you don’t get dehydrated.
