Have you ever dreamt of being raped?

I constantly have these rape/molestation dreams. I've never been raped or molested (to my knowledge, I know its possible memories can be repressed) but I keep having these dreams idky but I wanted to know if others go through this to and what their story is.

I've had them. mostly molestation, which I've had several cases of. if it's a fear of yours, it would make sense you'd have nightmares of them

It could be a fear (obviously lol) I've never been in a tornado but I constantly have dreams of being in one.

I had them right after I moved to a new state for a while. I was terrified of going out and walking the dog or anything by myself. I woke up crying a few times. I stopped having them but I think it was because I moved across the country and it was my first time being away from my family and friends, it was just a very emotional time and I felt vulnerable and that’s how those feelings portrayed themselves in my dreams

From what I know (psych professional) it's pretty common and while people who have histories of sexual trauma may experience nightmares related to the trauma, people without trauma histories also may experience dreams and nightmares about rape and molestation. Dreams can be about any combination of things that you have heard of, and don't necessarily have any significant meaning, although they can be disturbing. If it bothers you or disrupts your sleep significantly, it could be worth it to seek treatment for nightmares. It happens to me too, no known trauma history. I just ignore it.
