Anyone bleed for weeks with a positive outcome?

I’m 9 weeks pregnant today, I’ve been spotting everyday (only when I wiped) since I was 5 weeks pregnant. I had a scan last Thursday with a strong heartbeat & the consultant said he couldn’t see any bleeding around where the baby is & he’s not sure where I’m bleeding from. The past 3 days though it’s got heavier (it is bright red) & now I’m having to use pads. I miscarried at 7 weeks before & when I started to bleed heavier, within an hour I had severe cramps & passed everything. I thought the same was happening but I’ve not passed anything in 3 days only tiny clots (but nothing near the size of what I passed when I miscarried) Has anyone had a similar experience during pregnancy with a positive outcome? My Dr said some women bleed throughout their entire pregnancy without any answers as to where it’s from. I don’t want to go to the ER etc as I know if it is a miscarriage it’s going to happen & it’s out of my control. I’d rather not be poked & prodded at anymore.
