Baby Shower?!

Hey ladies! I'm due July 22nd, and was gonna have my baby shower in June, first or second week.. Is this too early or too late? Also, I know the mom to be is supposed to have nothing to do with the planning part, but I can't help myself because I want it to be PERFECT.. I've already made a guest list, and have plans for the invitations. I also have games and food/drink I'd like to have.. but is it okay to leave the rest up to my host? I hate putting all of my faith for my perfect day into my best friends hands, even though I love her, it just scares me! I'm too big a control freak, especially being my first baby.. anyone else?! Also, do kids come or whats the etiquette on that?! thanks!!

I am due 7/14 and my shower is 5/6.
I wanted it a little earlier so I have time to get everything situated while I’m still not super uncomfortable.
My sister is handling everything but I have her a few things I want and am totally confident she’s going to do awesome. My only two things were to not be a super stuffy shower er and all gifts in cellophane because I hate opening stuff lol

I’m due July 3, and my mom and mother in law have my shower planned for end of April. It’s the best timing for us since I’m going to have to travel about 5 hours and our spring is full of weddings and graduations as well.

I’m due July 11th and having it sometime in may. That way if I don’t get everything I need/want for my baby shower then I can buy those things. Also want to have lots of time to set up the room and go into nesting mode 💙 but there is no wrong or right time!

I’m totally biased and in favor of early shower (no later than 30 weeks). Something to consider- at 35 weeks you may start to get swelling and be in discomfort which is less than ideal for enjoying your shower. Also, I delivered my first at 37 weeks, so just be mindful that you may be delivering early, and you’ll want time to exchange/return gifts, and set up the nursery. 
The kids thing is 100 percent up to you!

It's up to you on the kid invite. We always have kids come because I feel it's a way to embrace what you're about to become a part of. I don't think it's rude either way. I think a month in advance sounds perfect. Then you know what you still need to buy and you have time to put things away.

I’m due At the very very end of June so I could easily go into July. We are having ours in April for two reasons. 1) we are moving exactly a month before I’m due and I don’t want the stress of having to figure out where packages/cards might end up. 2) I want plenty of time to return multiples and get the extra things we didn’t receive. That last month for us is going to be extremely busy and I don’t need any extra unneeded stress on top of it in a nc summer with humidity at its peak. I’ll be extremely pregnant, hot, and cranky my poor sweet husband will have to take care of everything the last month.
