PCOS moms to be??

Question

I just completed my 13 weeks of being pregnant and stopped taking Metformin 1000 mg daily. I was totally nervous about stopping them only because of a miscarriage that I had last year. Any other mom to be's just stopped Metformin?? How are you all feeling??

I stopped as soon as I found out I was pregnant and 13 weeks now with no problems so far. I was on vaginal progesterone until 10 weeks though starting during fertile period.

Stopped with my son at 12 weeks no problems.  Will do the same with this one at 12 too.

I stopped at 11 weeks and am doing great! I wanted to stop before taking an early glucose test. I was worried but have heard hb since then :-)

I haven't been instructed to stop mine, but I also don't really trust this OB. I'm 13 weeks and think I probably should.

My doctor had me stop right away. So I stopped taking metformin at around 5 weeks. I'm 9 + 3 now and baby is doing great.

I stopped when I first found out at 5 weeks. I am now 11weeks 4 days.

I stopped mine a few weeks ago at my endocrinologist's request. Due to the PCOS and family history, we did the blood glucose test early and I am diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Even without metformin, my blood sugar has been doing pretty well. 79-93 for morning resting, then 96-135 (which I was naughty on the meal for) for two hours post food.

I am anxious to see what my dr decides to do at my appointment. I'll be 13 weeks next week. I am carrying twins. I'm nervous to go off of it but if they think I can and I'll be okay then I'll go for it.

I was honestly scared at first......but now I'm okay with it. Being that I am out of my first trimester. But thanks you guys!!!!! I hope that you all have healthy remainder of your pregnancies!!!!
