is it a yeast infection

Hello, I am writing this anonymously because it's embarrassing. I'm 32 weeks pregnant, I'm having symptoms of itching and a little swelling in my vagina. I had it a 3 weeks ago, my doctor prescribed a cream I insert for 7 days and it helped relieve the symptoms, but now it's back again. Is this normal for pregnancy? ***UPDATE**** so I tried the sort of natural route because I didn't want to use the medicine and then keep having to use it over and over. since most of the comments said that this is very common. I bought a hp balancing super gentle wash and have been washing with that. and have just been drinking A LOT more water. the symptoms have gone away almost completely. so I'm just going to keep doing this until it's all gone.
