eating before labor

ive been wondering do people pick up food before heading to the hospital. are you allowed to eat before you have a baby or will that make you poop. lol im a foodie so im going to be grouchy if labor takes forever and i haven't eaten. i keep thinking im going to tell my boyfriend to stop somewhere to get food so i can eat before we get to the hospital. im going to take snacks for after and for him but i think ill go crazy if i dont eat for however long labor might be. and i think id hold a grudge against him if i know he goes to get food but i can't make him starve jyst because i can't eat. lol 3 weeks to go and that's all that's on my mind
