why do i care about anyone else but my family?

i know this is probably out of contex but, idk i love my family but at the same time i dont show any type of love for them, my mom says im indiferent to them and ive always been distant even tho im still young and live with them, its not like OMG I HATE MY PARENTS I JUZT LOVE MY FRIENDS bc its not tru, i lov my family but i dont feel the need to care so much about them as other people do? is it wrong? idkenfnsl?

I don't really bother with my family much myself, but I actively dislike most of them anyway. I've always preferred just doing my own thing, I don't want to sit with my parents for 4 hours watching shit TV while they bitch at me. I don't feel the automatic bond that most people seem to have with their families. That said, I absolutely love my younger brother and would do anything for him, but that's because we actually get along like friends and I'm happy spending time with him. You might feel better about them once you move out and aren't around them constantly, but don't feel guilty for not having those family feelings towards them. You aren't choosing to feel how you feel

I think about it like this. if tomorrow they are gone how would you feel, what do you wish you would have told them. if what you are doing would make the answers to those questions seem alright then good for you and if they don't you should evaluate and change how you treat them.
