so confused !!! help ?!!

so i went to the obgyn and got told that i have a bacterial infection i have been taking my meds for a week now and take my last pill later tonight , can anything happen or what will happen if i were to have sex while on that medicine? also i have noticed i have a couple small dots around vaginal area , they don’t hurt or itch they just blend in with everything else what is that is it something to be worried about ???? also i cant really remember if the dots were there while first taking the medication or just recently appeared. also when they told me they just said to try to avoid having sex
